The school holidays are over and we are back from beautiful Thailand. We had a lovely relaxing time and of course squeezed in some fabric shopping at my favourite place in Bangkok- Sampeng Lane, Chinatown.
This is an amazing place for those who get excited by fabric, buttons, beads and braid- I admit to this obsession! It is called the Walking Lane Textiles and is a hub of activity- you can buy all sorts of fabric, I mostly use cottons and there was lots to choose from.
These were all $2 or $3 per metre and the braid was 50c per metre.
These Japanese cottons were $4 per metre- looking forward to use these for some skirts or cute little tops- of course they would also make great bags, purses, cushion covers .... I had better get to it!
