Coledale Christmas Markets

Best market experience so far. Great atmosphere, great people and great music.
Thanks to everyone who came over and said hello, thanks for supporting us and we look forward to more fun markets days in 2011.
We loved the front row seats for the belly dancing!

Wollongong Art & Design Christmas Market

This was an amazing event held at Wollongong City Gallery and organised by the talented Sal Harris and Emma-Lee Crane. We were so impressed with the fabulous crowds that came to support arts and crafts in the Gong. It was a very successful day and we met some great people. We hope there will be more like this event to come.

Kiama Christmas Markets

We arrived to find a small city of stalls set up on Black Beach, Kiama.
The scale of this market was huge and we were a bit lost in the rows and rows of stall holders.
A very mixed bag again weather wise and sales were very slow. A Santa hat was brought out after lunch to try and attract some Christmas cheer.
With some black storm clouds creeping up on us around 2pm, we made the hard decision to call it a day to avoid another soggy pack-up. I think it's all about the position at the Kiama markets to make sales work.

November Coledale Markets

Its was a mixed bag weather wise for Drawstring at Coledale markets, with sun, wind and pouring rain to contend with but it was great to finally get the chance to set up the stall. We met some great locals and tried not to spend too much of our takings on presents for ourselves from other stall holders. The kids and dads came round for a visit and a bit of a run on the oval and we had many visitors from the local area.

Drawstring at Coledale

The launch of Drawstring began in October 2010 at a very wet Coledale markets. Thanks to friends and relatives for your support and making it worth the soggy set up.
